Companies
The 1996 Companies Act introduced the concept of ordinary and exempt companies. Exempt companies qualify for tax exemption status, provided that it conducts business only with persons not resident in the Federation. While ordinary companies pay local taxes but are free to conduct business with whomever they choose.

The fees for registration of a Company are as follows:

Private Companies      UDS 100.00    USD 200.00
Public Companies        USD 100.00    USD 600.00
